Huoay Xai - pre-travel post

Huoay Xai is a small town on the Thai-Lao border. There is an amazing looking zipline network in the tree canopies near here where you watch gibbons as you zoom past, called The Gibbon Experience. However it is quite pricey, so we chose the scuba diving course in Koh Tao instead as our "luxury treat".

 Other than that, there isn't really much to do here, but apparently it's quite a pleasant town to relax for a day before embarking on the journey to Luang Prabang.

Travelling Twats

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.
